PADI Enriched Air Diver (Speciality Course)

The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is PADI’s most popular specialty scuba diving course, and it’s easy to see why. Scuba diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more no decompression dive time. This means more time underwater, especially on repetitive scuba dives.

What you learn
Techniques for getting more dive time by using enriched air nitrox.
Enriched air scuba diving equipment considerations.
Enriched air considerations, including managing oxygen exposure, how to tell what’s in your scuba tank and how to set your dive computer.

Qualification gained
Upon successful completion of this course you will receive your PADI certification card which qualifies you to plan and execute non-decompression dives using breathing gases containing up to and including 40% oxygen.

Pre-requisites
To take this course, you must:

  • be a minimum of 15 years old
  • hold a PADI Advanced Open Water Dive certification (or qualifying certification from another organization).

Course structure
Optional:
1 day (without diving) – theory only.
2 days (with diving) – theory followed by 2 open water dives.

Equipment
You will need a full set of diving kit. We offer equipment rental if required, at a discounted rate.
